U7 Program

The U7 program follows Softball Canada’s guidelines and is designed provide young players, aged 4-7 years old, a basic understanding to the skills of softball. 

This program will provide children with maximum opportunity to practice the skills necessary to successfully start their development process in all areas of the sport:  hitting, throwing, fielding, etc. 

Activities will be station based, which fosters the involvement of all players, at all skill levels.

The emphasis is on FUN, ACTION and a POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE, with a gradual introduction to non-stressful competition.

DATE/TIME:  To Be Announced, will run for 1 hour

LOCATION:  Fullertons Marsh Field

SEASON DURATION: The U7 season will start towards the first of June and will run until mid August

COACHES:  The U7 sessions will be led by our current Youth Development director and Senior Stratford Stealer Players. Any parents who wish to help out will be more than welcome and encouraged to do so! 

REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED GEAR:

• Glove
• Helmet
• Fielding Mask (not mandatory)
• Cleats (not mandatory)
• Bat (not mandatory)
